Description: PORTLAND, ORE.: Snohomish County Public Utility District (PUD) in Oregon has signed a contract with Iberdrola Renewables to purchase wind energy from the Hay Canyon Wind Project. The utility will receive all the project's output, beginning in 2009. Hay Canyon Wind Project is in north central Oregon, along the Columbia River Gorge. The project has an installed capacity of 100.8 MW. The long-term contract was signed with Hay Canyon Wind LLC, a subsidiary of Iberdrola. Source: jrodalOREGON (YouTube)
